Support for Education in Palestine, GOTG office in Gaza has launched this campaign to support more than 3000 students who have been affected by the UNRWA budget cut.

The project will cover those students for 6 months providing school bags, transportation and daily healthy meals in many schools located in various provinces.

Funding cuts to the UN is going to be "catastrophic" says the United Nations Relief Works Agency (UNRWA) that takes care of the education of 500 000 children across 711 schools in Palestine. The only future Palestinian children have is through education. Already many educators have lamented the absence of stationery which is hampering the learning process.

Palestinian Volunteers at Gaza Boarder

Gift of the Givers paramedic and nursing team are stationed 25m from the Gaza border as the point of first contact for injured Palestinian civilians. Medical equipment and supplies sponsored by Gift of the Givers. Patients are assessed and moved to the Palestinian Ministry of Health tent which is another 25m behind us.

Eid Event for Palestinian Orphans

In keeping with our efforts to bring some type of joy to the people of Gaza suffering great difficulty an Eid event was arranged for orphans and physic ally challenged children. There was joy and happiness all around in an otherwise very challenging environment. There were 600 children at the event and each child was given R320.  It was a token amount as an Eid gift.

Gift of the Givers Team on the Ground in Gaza

As the death toll rises rapidly on the Gaza-Israeli border and the casualties approach 3000, Gift of the Givers increases it's intervention, expanding medical teams (we are 25m from the border and are the first responders for the injured before patients are moved to the Palestinian Ministry of Health facilities), we pay for treatment for the injured at private hospitals, provide medical equipment

Gift of the Givers Provided Medical Supplies and Wheelchairs

Gift of the Givers has intervened in the current situation in #Gaza providing medical supplies, hygiene kits and wheelchairs, assisting various medical facilities overflowing with injured civilians having been shot by the Israeli Defence Force. More than 100 patients thus far needed amputations due to the nature of their injuries.

Minor Surgeries For Poor Patients

In Gaza most hospitals are unable to properly operate due to the lack of equipment and electricity. Last week we launched a campaign to perform minor surgical procedures for the back log of patients who were on an 18 month waiting list.

Our goal is to service 1000 patients within 3 months.
